Jen Foxley transforms her deep exploration of psychology and spirituality into visual form. She experiments with color, texture, and shape to evoke sensations, emotions, and moods—sometimes subtle, sometimes bold—in both herself and the viewer. Her inspiration comes from the visceral experience of paint: layering opaque and translucent tones, working wet into wet, and embracing an adventurous approach that brings freedom to her practice. This is her way of taking flight through art.
Jen holds a Bachelor of Architecture from UC Berkeley and a Master of Fine Arts from the California College of the Arts in San Francisco. She currently lives in the Sacramento area and has exhibited her work nationally.
